Wow, have you thought about this?

Today Sunday, June fourteenth at around five o’clock in the evening I was in the kitchen cooking I decided to make some homemade chicken soup, so I broke out my my Instapot that I bought about a year ago, and took some chicken wings and put them into the pot; frozen I might add, then seasoned them up,added some veggies that I had also in the fridge and set the pot for an hour and a half, and then I sat down at the computer that I keep on the dining table in my kitchen. I live alone, so I can do that you see, while I was waiting for the soup I decided to play a few games of solitaire, and do some thinking; I do that alot. Mind was on doing some more writing on my second book thinking about all of the content I’ve gathered over my life I also had interruption in my thoughts about how others think about me, and thinking to myself; that has nothing to do with me; that’s them. Then I saw a flash of light from my window, and right after I realized that it was lightning there was a loud boom; shook me up, because it was so loud, and I remembered hearing somewhere that when the two were so close together that it meant that the storm was really close to you. Then I thought about if God wanted to punish a people He didn’t have to destroy everyone. I thought about the Hebrews in the wilderness that kept complaining to Moses, and God after a while had the earth to open and swallow some of them up, and also in the book of Judges how when Israel were in a bad situation God would raise up a Judge to deliver them, and after the Judge died they would return to doing evil in the sight of The Lord, and God would let them suffer some more, until they cried out again, and this kept going on, so God don’t have to destroy the whole world to punish a people. I also realized that if He wanted to there’s many other was He can a people, or even just one person. Remember he turned water into wine He can also turn air into water that would drown you, or even deeper than that He could just split an atom; you know that’s how the atomic bomb works,  like when America dropped a bomb on Hiroshima. But think about this- another country could drop a nuclear bomb on us, that loud boom that I heard that caught me off guard could’ve just as easily been a bomb, and it could’ve been over just like that for me and anyone in this city. I think with that in mind, everyone should make sure that you are making the right decision in what you think about the Bible.
